1 In the LORD I take refuge.
How then can you say to me:
“Flee like a bird to your mountain.
2 For look, the wicked bend their bows;
they set their arrows against the strings
to shoot from the shadows
at the upright in heart.
3 When the foundations are being destroyed,
what can the righteous do?”
4 The LORD is in his holy temple;
the LORD is on his heavenly throne.
He observes everyone on earth;
his eyes examine them.
5 The LORD examines the righteous,
but the wicked, those who love violence,
he hates with a passion.
6 On the wicked he will rain
fiery coals and burning sulfur;
a scorching wind will be their lot.
7 For the LORD is righteous,
he loves justice;
the upright will see his face.

- This is a place where we can come to study God's Word together! It doesn't matter where you are, who you are, or where you've been...we can all come here! We will be studying one book of the Bible at a time...and there will be a new chapter every Monday, Wednesday, & Friday to discuss. After the chapters are up on the blog please feel free to go into the comments section and post your thoughts on the chapter, a verse that stuck out to you, any questions you might have, a prayer request, etc... We want this place to be a place where we can connect. If you're new to all of this...that's okay...don't feel pressured to interact...but just know that you can if you want to. This site is a place for newcomers, in betweeners, and seasoned believers. It's a place to keep us accountable and in the Word...which is the best place to be. Fiery coals raining down on me don't sound like a lot of fun...I don't know why anyone would choose to be wicked after reading that!

Vs 4 makes mention of God observing everyone on earth. Knowing and acknowledging that He is always watching me definitely affects my actions/decisions in life compared to before I accepted Jesus and I never thought "what would God think of what I'm doing right now."
And I agree Ali- I don't want fiery coals and burning sulfur raining down sounds pretty darn horrible.
